En resumen, una reducción describe cuando tu cabello se vuelve gradualmente más corto a medida que baja por tu cabeza. Ya que hayas marcado tu línea de desvanecido continúa con la máquina palanca abierta o con la media para marcar la siguiente linea guía con una medida aproximada de 7 cm.
Para crear la siguiente guía vamos a utilizar la guía del No.1 palanca cerrada de la misma manera subiremos otros 7 mm.

Ya teniendo listas estas dos lineas, empezaremos a borrar tomando como área de trabajo media pulgada o centímetro y medio. Empieza a borrar la primera línea con la máquina palanca abierta, posteriormente coloca el peine con palanca abierta y empieza a jugar con la palanca entre media y cerrada utilizando la técnica de cuchareo o C. De esta manera irás borrando las líneas.

Para borrar la guía vamos a trabajar máquina sobre peine, trabajaremos con porciones muy pequeñas cortando el cabello que sobresale. Con esta técnica no es necesario utilizar otras guías.

Posteriormente borraremos la línea que se trabajó con la patillera utilizando la técnica de muñequero, también conocida como cuchareo, ten presente que esta técnica es básica para realizar el taper. De igual manera jugaremos con la palanca hasta que la línea quede desvanecida.

En la nuca le puedes dar distintos acabados, en esta ocasión trabajamos un corte cuadrado, primero marcamos con la patillera, posteriormente marcaremos la línea guía de aproximadamente 1cm con máquina palanca abierta.
